This is easily one of my favorite deli spots! The food is always delicious, and they definitely don't skimp on portions. The sandwiches are loaded with toppings, and the bagels come with plenty of cream cheese instead of the tiny smear you get at some places. The cookies are huge and tasty! The seating area is comfortable. I also love the self-serve coffee and tea station. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming. This deli is definitely worth a visit!

"A Savannah Institution"! I know, there seem to be a lot of them, right?!? Well, this one deserves the moniker. With quality delis being few and far between in this area, Midtown Deli stands out as THE PLACE for a great sandwich. They serve an excellent breakfast here as well (bringing back vivid memories of daily stops on the morning drive to work, back in my home state of New Jersey - where quality delis are taken for granted), but it is really all about the lunch sandwich isn't it? A little hole-in-the wall, in a nondescript strip mall, but that's how I like it; it makes you feel like you discovered something! On my last visit, I treated myself to a meatball parm (well, that's what we call them back North anyway, regardless of whether or not there's really any parmesean on there), and it was very good. And very filling. Side of chips and a Coke. Can't beat it. Hot pastrami and Swiss on the next visit! Yumm.
